These stories describe the part of my life journey which brought me to coaching. In order to build thriving, vibrant communities from the boardroom to the classroom, I believe the following must happen:
Clarity – get clear about the issue
Courage – get courageous and explore different possibilities and perspectives
Connection – I see relationships as the key to everything: effective communication amongst team members; a feeling of belonging in the home, school, workplace and community; shared investment in the outcome of a project.
I offer you my story from this context. My intention is to inspire you to ponder your own process and journey as you read. How are these elements present, or not, in your life, with your team, in your workplace? How would it serve your situation if you were able to build strong community amongst your family, peers or coworkers?
